Arusha National Park

Its the closest park to Tanzania’s tourism capital the northern town of Arusha. Arusha National Park accommodates Ngurdoto Crater with its swamps, momella collection of lakes and mount meru in the western side.It also offers a good visibility of Mt kilimnajro in the East by both climbing Mt Meru or just a look from anywhere in the National Parks.
The entrance gate leads into shadowy montane forest inhabited by inquisitive blue monkeys and colourful turacos and trogons – the only place on the northern safari circuit where the acrobatic black-and-white colobus monkey is easily seen. The spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep, rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog gives a good experience and unique adventure to those who climbing mount Meru.Other wild animals found in the area are: zebra, leopards.
