Misali Conservation Area

Misali Island, located in the westside of the of Pemba island.Its believed to be the reserve with high diversity of marine species and the highest ever recorded coral genera of and fish species. It also supports green monkeys,endangered nesting turtles,coconut crabs, Pemba Flying Fox,and various species of birds.Activities available are: diving and snorkelling.For scientific research and other activities can be directed as per local authority permission.
