Mt Longido

About a hundred kms North of Arusha heading in the direction to Namanga Road there lies a town known as Longido down the foot of the Longido mountain.
Most of the nearby areas form a part of another Maasai land.The area is traditionally maasai with all maasai cultural influence.Its a grazing dominion for maasai with very important culture values for culture tourists with much of mountain hiking and walking around the vicininty.Its not the area foa maasai and their cattles or other domesticated animals but also species of wild animals and birds are found there too.animal species are:the rare ,klipspringer,gerenuk ,kudu, gazelles, buffaloes, mongoose, zebra, silver jackals, and giraffes
