Rungwe Mountains

Rungwe mountain located in the mbeya region, somewhere in the Tukuyu district.Its the Highest in the southern highland monuntain Ranges.The sorruondings contain catchments of forrest reserve.the most famous forest montane covers almost every available areas with different kind of vegetations.
With a good number of streams flowing down the kiwira river into Lake Nyas, the catchment proves to be very conducive for living organisms, flora nad fauna flourish.Spceies found including:colobus Monkeys, Abbot's Duiker, Bush Viper and so many species of birds.
Activities:Hiking up the mountain within defined routes, Birding ,and Walking-through water catchments, vilages to the vast areas of the forest.
