The legendary Serengeti, whose name was derived from Masai Language means endless Plains.
Serengeti is the most Famous and the First Tanzanian National park. It harbors millions of Wild animals that exhibit annual Natural Show Off (\” migration, pilgrimage). Known as the great migration where animals take a 1000km migration from south Serengeti to the other nearby country Kenya .Its a migration that carries series of stunning events of the territorial conquests , mating , reproductions , survival for the fittest and natural and respect for the smallest.
The event is triggered by the shifting of rain and hence the distribution of grazing area. Guided by the Natural compass and clock wild beast, gazelles, and zebra gather and start this stunning annual pilgrimage that to some extent we can compare Olympic games in world of human society.
It’s a pilgrimage that few animals are lucky enough to make it to the next pilgrimage.
